North Bergen Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, indexes, and historical directory collections connected with North Bergen, New Jersey. It does not host a government database and is not affiliated with a records office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use the site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or anything found through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reporting Service
North Bergen Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing here, or returned by a linked tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

Government portals, library collections, and outside providers, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own policies and terms. Their content, availability, prices, and data practices are outside our control.

6. Limits on Our Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages connected with this reference or a linked resource, including decisions based on material found through either.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from misuse of the service or a violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links and brief attributed quotations are welcome. Republishing full pages or systematically copying the content is not permitted.

11. Governing Law
New Jersey law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Requests for a government record are subject to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, P.L. 2001, c.404, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., and must be made to the correct public custodian.
12. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
